About Us
elwood wines was set up by Karl Elwood, a Brighton wine consultant, to help people in selecting their wines from everyday drinking to the finer end of the scale for those special occasions.
Karl has over 20 years of experience in the wine trade and he has worked with many wine growers over this period of time. He started out at Berkman Wines and then worked with Laytons for over 10 years. Armit was his last London position where he was head of the private sales team for over 4 years.
He moved down to Brighton and realised that there was an opportunity to offer a high level of personal service in Sussex based on his experiences in London. elwood wines was created with this in mind.
