This week we have enjoyed the Bourgogne Rouge 2008, Domaine Jean-Jacques Girard, Savigny-Les-Beaune, France. For £12 a bottle, it's excellent value. Our food match was chicken with a mustard cream sauce - delicious. Click here to see the recipe.
This elegant pinot noir is medium-bodied with a lovely nose of raspberries and cherries. It is vibrant and juicy on the palate and the aromas follow through.
