The start of 2012 heralded the release of the fabulous 2010 vintage from Burgundy. It's yet another vintage that may not have been, but for the fine weather that arrived in September and saved the day. Unfortunately, the challenging growing season has resulted in one of the smallest harvests on record and sadly there is very little to sell.
For those seeking a fine Champagne that really delivers on quality at a reasonable price, then Deutz is well worth a look. The leading sommeliers in the UK and abroad have been following this small family-run champagne house for many years.
