Our Prosecco Classico is a very fine example of this classic Italian bubbly and the Crémant de Loire from Langlois-Château is one of the best sparkling wines outside of Champagne. The Deutz is a recent addition to our list and for the discerning buyer, represents one of the finest Champagnes at this price point and comes highly recommended. And if you seek a "grande marque", then few of the major brands rival the opulence and refinement of Bollinger, an eternal classic.
Crémant de Loire Brut NV, Langlois Chateau
A blend of 60% Chenin Blanc, 20% Chardonnay and 20% Cabernet Franc, made in exactly the same way as Champagne and spends between two to two-an-a-half years on the lees before it is disgorged. The result is a soft mousse, with vibrant and racy fruit, bready yeast flavours and zesty apply freshness that is accompanied by the waxed-lemon flavours of Chenin Blanc - a variety so clearly suited for sparkling production due to its fine acidity.
