Our Prosecco Classico is a very fine example of this classic Italian bubbly and the Crémant de Loire from Langlois-Château is one of the best sparkling wines outside of Champagne. The Deutz is a recent addition to our list and for the discerning buyer, represents one of the finest Champagnes at this price point and comes highly recommended. And if you seek a "grande marque", then few of the major brands rival the opulence and refinement of Bollinger, an eternal classic.
Crémant de Loire Rosé Brut NV, Langlois Chateau
Nearly 100% Cabernet Franc with just a dash of Chenin Blanc to add a touch of zest. This rosé is made by the contact method - in other words, the juice from the red Cabernet Franc grapes is in contact with the skins for just a few hours to impart some colour, but avoiding any infiltration of tannin. Hints of cherries and red berry fruits rise from the glass and the flavours are of pure raspberry and blackcurrant with a freshness that leaves a good many more illustrious sparkling Rosés standing.
