Le Clémentin de Pape Clément 2005, 2nd wine of Ch Pape Clément
This really needs a good couple of hours in a decanter to show at it's best. Pape Clément produced one of the finest wines of the vintage and their second label, Le Clémentin, represents a delicious abbreviation of its big sister. This wine has all the hallmarks of the exceptional, ripe vintage. Loads of currants and sweet berry fruit. The tannins are rounded and supple, delivering a very approachable wine even this young.
